12市町村が合併して出来た新浜松市
そこは政令指定都市になった。
その都市の北の隅っこ山間部に佐久間町に暮らしています。
当時、合併の説明に、佐久間町の役場の職員が私の地域に説明に来た。
静岡市に合併した井川地区を例にとり
「佐久間町もイズレ井川地区のようになるでしょう」
と、他人事のように言っていた。
これから私の暮らす佐久間町はどの様になっていくのだろう。
そんな寂しい気持ちでいたころ、ウルトラマラソンを走る人に出会い、
「遠い未来を憂い悲しむより、今を楽しもう」
そんな気持ちになり、自分で北遠でマラニックを企画するようになった。
合併して10年がたった。
当時立ち上げたNPO「がんばらまいか佐久間」元佐久間町の議員が頑張っている姿を見て感動した。
9年間その活動に協力したが、理事たちの夢や希望のない言葉に失望して今は水窪のNPO「山に生きる会」に参加させてもらっている。
袖振り合うも他生の縁
こらからも、偶然でほんのささやかな出会いを大切に、人との絆を大切に、残された人生を歩んでいきたいと思う。
